We recommend soaking sunflower microgreen seeds for 3-6 hours in cold water. Most microgreens thrive best when grown in a soil-based growing medium, including Minute Soil Coco Coir. Next, prepare your growing container with moist soil. Spread your black oil sunflower seeds over the soil surface. Cover your seeds with a light layer of soil or a moist paper towel to retain moisture during germination. Soak your soil well to ensure enough moisture during the germination phase. Cover to maintain a humid environment for the next 3-4 days. Uncover and place in a well-lit location. Maintain moist but not soaking wet soil by checking daily after germination and watering as needed.
