Often it Rutabaga is sliced into cubes and incorporated with boiling carrots or potatoes. Rutabaga is a root vegetable, commonly grown as an annual crop. Rutabaga started off as a cross between cabbage and turnip. Rutabagas are popular in Scandinavian dishes.
