🏵️ Wildflower Growing Instructions 🏵️
Growing Non-GMO Bee Mix Wildflower Flower Seeds
Wildflower seeds are accustomed to surviving all on their own in the wild. Therefore, they are easy to plant and maintain. Prepare the growing area by weeding, removing debris, and lightly tilling the top 3 inches of soil. Scatter the seeds in the fall or springtime and watch them bloom all summer long! Use about 8 ounces of seed per 1,000 square feet for broadcast sowing. Scatter the seeds and lightly tamp them into the soil. They will flourish more readily when they are watered at the time of planting until they become well-established and during long periods without rain. Depending on the climate, you may need to cut these back every few years to keep them from overspreading or re-plant the seed mix again if it appears to be thinning out.
This is a specially chosen mix of annuals and perennials that benefit bees and will readily thrive in many climates. The perennials will return happily every year, and the annuals will voluntarily reseed. To prevent re-seeding, remove blooms as soon as they are done, however this is not commonly done with wildflowers. Plant this mix once, and you should get color year after year! Avoid pesticide use on this mix to protect the health of your local bees.
