Growing Indivisa Dracaena Garden Seeds

Indivisa dracaena seeds can be easily sown directly after the frost but, for earliest spring starts, begin indoors 10-12 weeks prior. For best results, pre-soak seeds for 3-5 days. Dracaena is popularly grown as an indoor perennial houseplant but will also thrive outdoors in warm winters. Harden off to a warm but shady spot in the garden when transplanting outside since mature plants will require the shade. Plant 2-3 Indivisa dracaena seeds ¼" deep and 36" apart in Organically fertile, evenly moist, and well-drained soil in partial shade. Indivisa dracaena is known to be tolerant to many pests and diseases. Plants require shade during long summer heat and soil must be consistently moist or will dehydrate very quickly. Indivisa dracaena has no serious pests but monitor regularly for mealy bugs and spider mites, especially on indoor plants. Indivisa seeds mature in 140-150 days as 24-36" uprights with a 24-36" wide spread of skinny tropical green leaves.

Cordyline indivisa, or more commonly known as Dracaena or Mountain Palm, is a sole native to New Zealand where there it grows abundantly and in a variety of cultivars.
