Growing Directions:

Organic Yellow Swiss Chard seeds thrive in zones 6 and above. They should be planted in a soil that is both loose and rich, moist, but well drained. Aim for a soil with a pH between 6 and 7; adding compost and sand to the soil can help to equalize it. These seeds can be started indoors and transplanted outside later on, or sown directly outdoors two to three weeks before the final frost of the season. Be sure to choose an area with full sun and plenty of room. The rows should be 18-24" apart with plants 18" apart. These plants will do well if they are watered often and harvested delicately. Be sure to keep the roots and the base intact when harvesting them so that they can keep growing all summer long.
