Onions are a biennial vegetable grown commonly as an annual. While the seeds can be harvested in the second year. Onions themselves are commonly harvested in the first year for the vegetable. We offer a variety of bulbing onions which you can browse by type: Short day onions, are ideal for the southern states, intermediate day onions do well throughout the United States, and long day onions are best for northern latitudes.
